Allick Has Some Interest

Donell Allick, a 6-3, 210 pound shooting guard from Providence College, has transferred into Seward County C.C. in Liberal, Kan.
A native of New Haven, Conn., Allick spent two years at Providence. He sat out the 2000-2001 season at the Big East school and played sparingly for the Friars in 2001-2002.

Allick is hoping to use the upcoming year at Seward to bounce back on the Division I level. Even though many are not aware that Allick is at the Kansas junior college, Saints Asst. Coach Swede Trenkle said he has fielded calls from San Diego, N.C. State, Temple and South Alabama regarding Allick.
Allick enjoyed a stellar senior campaign at the Winchendon School in 1999-2000. He copped MVP honors as the Green Wave won the prestigious Fork Union Tournament in December of 1999.
After completing his work at Seward, Allick will have two years to play on the Division I level.
