Allen Morill Has Big Night

HEMPSTEAD, NEW YORK -- Allen Morill, a 6-7 wing forward from Sam Houston High School in Texas, drilled the Philadelphia Panthers for 20 points last night to help the Texas Blue Chips win a game at the Three Stripe Classic at Hofstra University.
Morill's recruiting has also picked up, according to AAU head coach Mitch Malone of the Texas Blue Chips. "Allen is open right now but he has some really good programs interested in him right now," Malone told us. "Baylor, Houston, Miami of Florida, Boston College, and Arizona State appear to be very interested in him."

They should be. Morill showed a nice game from the wing. He seemed to have a good first step to the hoop and showed he can hit the perimeter shot.
"Allen also has his grades too," Malone told us. "He is all set academically. So he is a very attractive recruit to be involved with right now."
We will continue to keep you posted on Morill at this tournament here on Long Island.
