Allan Ray Talks About Villanova, Sumpter Fraser

It was on July 10th of this summer that Allan Ray made if official that he was going to play for Jay Wright and the Villanova Wildcats. Ray, a legitimate McDonald's All American candidate, is one of the best scorers in the class of 2002.
Ray spoke to reporter Brian Towey about his decision and the future he will have with the Villanova basketball program.

Brian Towey: What are your thoughts now after committing to Villanova?
Allan Ray: I'm very happy I made the decision. I think (Villanova) is the perfect fit for me, and I was able to get the pressure off my chest. I think it was
a great decision for me.
Brian Towey: What are you going to do to get ready for college competition?
Allan Ray: I'm going to work hard this summer and during the school year. I'm also going to play with older players to help improve my game.
Brian Towey: What does it mean to have Curtis Sumpter with you at Villanova?
Allan Ray: I'm excited about (Sumpter committing to Villanova). It was a great move. He's a great player and we're going to develop the program around great players.
Brian Towey: What do you think the chances are Jason Fraser will sign with Villanova too?
Allan Ray: We're talking to him, and it looks good (that he may sign with Villanova). We'll have to see what happens.
