Alexander Has New List

Steve Alexander, a well built 6-3, 200 pound combo guard from Seward County C.C. in Liberal, Kan., has a number of Division I programs courting him this winter.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught up with Seward Asst. Coach Swede Trenkle at the Region VI quarters last week, and he gave us a quick run down on Alexander's situation.

Alexander could graduate in the spring, but Coach Trenkle cautioned that Steve has slim margin for error in the classroom (GPA). Southeast Missouri, Idaho State and Stephen F. Austin are some of the schools interested in Alexander.
Alexander is a jack of all trades who does a little bit of everything out on the basketball court. This past season, he averaged 9.8 points, seven rebounds and 5.8 assists for the Saints, who made it all the way to the Region VI Final before losing to Coffeyville.
So while he might not be a great shooter or scorer, Alexander was a valuable piece of the puzzle for Seward who helped the team out in many different ways.
The older brother of Oklahoma recruit DeAngelo, Alexander hails from Midwest City, Okla. We'll keep you abreast on his recruitment, so stay tuned.
