Alexander finds his fit

Four-star prospect Daniel Alexander impressed Rivals.com with his play in Las Vegas at the end of the summer. He also impressed one Big 12 school which snagged a commitment from him on Wednesday.
Texas A&M, which is just an hour and a half away from Alexander's Dripping Springs (Texas) High School, landed the 6-foot-8, 195-pound face up four man.

"It just felt right," said Alexander, who just returned home from an unofficial visit to Texas A&M on Wednesday. "The coaching staff is great. The playing style, distance from home, I like everything about the situation."
A highly skilled prospect, Alexander's mobility makes him especially dangerous in the open court and in two man game situation.
"The coaches are talking about using me in a pick and pop offense," he said. "They also think I can be successful running the floor."
Alexander, who averaged 24 points and 15 rebounds per game, also had visited Texas, Arizona and USC. Kentucky and Kansas were also recruiting him.
The No. 32 ranked prospect in the Rivals150, Alexander is Texas A&M's first 2010 commitment.
