Alex Galindo Commits To Kansas
Alex Galindo, the No. 65 ranked player on the Rivals150 list, has given a commitment to the Kansas Jayhawks. The 6-foot-6, 203-pound small forward from St. Benedict's Prep School in New Jersey went public with the decision after contacting all four head coaches. Galindo indicated that he reached his decision just several hours ago.

“Yes, I am going to play at Kansas. I just made the decision a couple of hours ago,” Galindo said. “Man, this is a wonderful opportunity for me. Playing college basketball at Kansas is going to be a wonderful experience. It was a tough decision for me, but I feel it was the best decision.”
Galindo made it clear that all four schools were in the running until the very end, but the opportunity to play for a national championship at Kansas was a big factor in the decision making process.
“My plan is to win a national championship at Kansas,” Galindo said. “I am going to work very hard for that. I think we have a great chance to achieve that goal during my time at Kansas. It’s just a great situation for me and I am really looking forward to playing for Coach Self and my teammates.”
