Alex Carmona Makes Decision
Alex Carmona, a well built 6-5, 210 pound power forward from Troy H.S. in Troy, Ohio, committed to Dayton yesterday. Carmona has not signed a letter of intent. He will not sign a letter of intent with Dayton right now. Dayton has no offers available.
Carmona, if he is to land at Dayton, has to get himself academically qualified and NCAA qualified. Carmona also considered Memphis too.

A native of Carolina, Puerto Rico, Carmona averaged 26.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game as a junior for Barry Egan's Troy program.
Carmona said he has about a 2.0 GPA, but admitted that he will need to boost his SAT and ACT scores in order to qualify under NCAA standards.
