Aldrich schedules Late Night visit
After trimming his list of schools down to three back on August 22, Cole Aldrich stated that he would unofficially visit either Kansas or North Carolina during the weekend of Midnight Madness. Aldrich, the No. 9 ranked player in the class of 2007, has made a decision about what school to visit.
"My family and I have decided to attend Late Night at Kansas," said Aldrich. "I wish that the event were taking place a little later in the evening, but my mom, dad and I are still looking forward to the event. Kansas is still the team to beat in my recruitment and they are still the leader. The coaching staff has been recruiting me for such a long time, so that has a lot to do with where they stand on my list."

Aldrich, the 6-foot-10, 235-pound power forward from Bloomington Jefferson High School in Bloomington, Minn., made it perfectly clear that he plans to officially visit Kansas and North Carolina before making a decision about a school. Because Aldrich lives so close to Minnesota, he is already familiar with the school.
"I plan to take official visits to North Carolina and Kansas before I make a decision," said Aldrich. "I live so close to Minnesota and can visit them whenever I want. I really don't know when I will get out to North Carolina for an official visit, but I do know that its going to happen."
Prior to trimming his list of schools, Aldrich had been receiving interest from the likes of Arizona, Kentucky, Marquette, Michigan State, Wisconsin and others.
Aldrich has scholarship offers from Kansas, North Carolina and Minnesota.
