Alabama nabs second from 2013

Anthony Grant and his staff at Alabama are still actively recruiting the class of 2011. Beyond that, they've yet to scratch in the class of 2012. But, as of Tuesday night the Crimson Tide now holds two commitments from the class of 2013 after Jaren Sina pulled the trigger for 'Bama.
Not yet particularly well known because of his young age, the 6-foot-2 product of Gladstone (N.J.) Gil St. Bernard's was impressive when Rivals.com watched him at AAU Nationals in July with his summer team.

According to his father and summer coach, Mergin Sina, the Alabama staff stressed family and that sealed the deal.
"The biggest thing to us was a sense of family and Coach Grant and his staff brings that. Every one of those coaches treat Jaren likes he's one of their own," the elder Sina told Rivals.com affiliate BamaOnline.com. "So I know that when he is at Alabama he's going to have someone there to look out and take care of him. Also we believe in what Alabama is doing. Coach Grant wants a certain kind of chemistry and Jaren fits that mold."
Sina joins Tennessee native Shannon Hale to make up Alabama's 2013 recruiting class.
