Alabama lands in-state star

It looks like Alabama and Anthony Grant have picked up right where they left off before they left for a tour of Europe.
After receiving three class of 2014 Rivals150 commitments in the 10 days before heading to The Netherlands, Belgium and France, the Crimson Tide picked up a 2015 commitment on the day they returned.

Within an hour of the team touching down in Atlanta after a flight from Paris, 6-foot-5 small forward Brandon Austin of Montgomery (Ala.) Carver called Grant to say he was ending his recruitment.
A three-star prospect who played his summer ball with the Alabama Challenge, Austin is an athletic wing who has a feel for scoring the ball. Rivals.com watched him up close at Nike's Elite 100 camp for rising juniors and sophomores, and he showed tremendous confidence as a scorer from deep and around the rim.
Later in the summer, Austin played at Alabama's team camp, where the Crimson Tide staff fell in love with him and began strong pursuit.
Austin is Alabama's first commitment from the class of 2015, and he will be a strong contender for the rankings when the class of 2015 gets expanded from a top 100 to a top 150 in the next few weeks.
