Supposed package deals rarely come to fruition, but Willy Kouassi and Bernard Morena have been intent on playing together in college and will so in the SEC.
The duo out of Birmingham (Ala.) Central Park High School will head to the southern part of the state and play for Auburn according to their travel team coach Darrien Knox of Team Alabama.
Kouassi is a 6-foot-10 post player known for his aggressiveness and ability to block shots. He will likely move into the four-star range in the upcoming rankings. Kouassi had a number of high major offers from the likes of Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and a number of other schools.
Morena, a three-star prospect, is an athletic 6-8 wing who also had offers from Alabama, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt among others.
Kouassi and Morena are Auburn's first two commitments in the 2011 class.
