Alabama, Cincinnati Look At Westley

Omari Westley (right), a 6-6, 195 pound jumping jack from Barton County C.C. in Great Bend, Kan., has seen a pair of programs evaluate him this fall.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught up with Barton County Head Coach Ryan Wolf, and he told us that Alabama and Cincinnati have both been in this fall to visit with Westley.

Westley spent last year at Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel, Ill., helping the Warriors win the NJCAA Title in a reserve role. Ironically enough, Westley's Wabash team defeated Barton County in an opening round matchup at the tournament.
Westley averaged 7.6 points and four rebounds per game as a freshman, shooting a robust 69.8 percent from the floor. He is a tremendous run/jump athlete who thrives in an up tempo style of play.
He should be an effective force in Barton County's press and run style of play.
JUCO Junction plans to catch Westley in action this season, so stay tuned to this site for more updates as the season unfolds.
