Aguiar Taking Test Again

Diego Aguiar, a 6-6, 210-pound small forward from from Bryant High School in New York, is an intriguing prospect with budding perimeter skills and quick feet.
Aguiar, a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, scored six points in the Queens Rim Rockers runaway win over the Jersey Jaguars at the IS8 league. Aguiar knocked down two three-pointers and proved agile in taking the ball to the hole. Aguiar, with a solid build, has a broad frame that will likely help him pack on more pounds over the next few years. He runs the floor well.

Aguiar, who averaged 25 points and 15 rebounds for Bryant this past season, fielded interest from Rider, Quinnipiac, Rutgers, Farleigh Dickinson, and LIU over the course of the season. A resident of Queens Village, Diego is a member of Doc Nicelli's Madison Broncos AAU program.
Aguiar told RivalsHoops.com that while he could spend another year in high school and would have a half of year of basketball eligibility remaining, that he intends to graduate this June. He carries an 83
scholastic average, but sources have told us that many of his courses may be in the English as a Second Language track, so we are not sure how that will impact his standing with the core requirements.
Diego has not yet achieved a qualifying SAT score, and will have one more shot at qualifying with the May 4th test.
