Agudio Makes Decision

Antoine Agudio, a 6-2, 170-pound combo guard from Walt Whitman High School, in Huntington, New York, committed to Hofstra, according to sources close to Agudio.
Hofstra already has landed two other highly regarded recruits for the 2003 class. Agudio gives even more depth to the Hofstra class because he can bury the outside jumper. Agudio, when his game is in high gear, can light up a defense with three-pointers.

During his recruiting process, many high to mid majors took a look at Agudio's skills. Kent State dropped out after getting a commitment from Demetrius Johnson. Agudio had also heard from Providence and Towson at different stages of his recruiting process.
Antoine is a very capable three-point shooter with a fluid stroke. He is crafty off the dribble, and wields decent athleticism. Agudio's strength will need work. He will need to add muscle to his upper body to prepare himself for the next level. And once more consistency comes to his stroke, he is likely to hoist up many three-pointers for the Hofstra program.
