CARTERSVILLE, Ga. -- At the adidas Gauntlet outside of Atlanta, Luguentz Dort continued to back up his 2018 Rivals150 ranking and others, like rising wing Christian Bishop, made noise.

Recruitment: Oregon, Arizona State, Baylor, UConn, Miami, Florida and Washington are involved.

His day: His toughness, size and explosiveness will remind many of Marcus Smart at the same age. He’s just a bully in attacking the basket and there is little opponents can do from stopping him when he really wants to get a bucket.

Prediction: Oregon has done well in Canada and Dort would fit in well with the way the Ducks get up and down the court. Oregon is usually not far away if he’s playing. Florida is prominent as well.

Recruitment: Committed to Arkansas.

His day: Perry is one of the more versatile players in the class. He’s equally comfortable playing in the paint and playing out on the perimeter. He’ll be a perfect “stretch four” in today’s college game.

Prediction: Mike Anderson will have a hard time keeping him off the court in the 2018-19 season. Perry will be an instant impact player for the Hogs.

Recruitment: Clemson, Penn State, Ole Miss, Virginia Tech and Cincinnati are in the mix for Bolton.

His day: Bolton started off with an early three-pointer just seconds into the game against the Atlanta Celtics and hit at least three more after that. His jumper is picture perfect and he also makes good decisions with the ball in his hands.

Recruitment: Committed to Auburn.

His day: The five-star power forward did a great job battling with a much bigger David McCormack. Montgomery gave up quite a bit of size, but he used his athleticism and motor to haul in several rebounds and had a few nice finishes in traffic.

Prediction: Like Perry at Arkansas, Bruce Pearl won’t have much choice but to play Montgomery early on in his time at Auburn. He’ll give the Tigers quite the front court with Chuma Okeke and Austin Wiley.

Recruitment: Creighton, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Kansas State and Tulsa.

His day: Bishop is still developing as a player, but he’s starting to turn the corner. He’s very thin, but everything he does on the court looks so natural. He’s a crafty finisher and has a smooth jump shot. He has a lot of upside.

Quote: “I liked it a lot at Missouri. The campus is great. The coaches are cool. Coach [Cuonzo] Martin is awesome.”

Prediction: Cuonzo Martin and Greg McDermott were both in the gym to see Bishop on Saturday afternoon. At this point, smart money is on one of them to eventually sign him.

Recruitment: Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Wake Forest, LSU and others are involved. UNC is watching him closely.

His day: On Friday night, Hagans made some huge plays down the stretch to help Game Elite win a close, but overall, it was just an average game by his standards. On Saturday night, Hagans made a case for being the best point guard in the 2019 class as he made big time plays against a really good Team BBC squad.

Prediction: Hagans will finish his high school career ranked as a five-star and potentially the top point guard in the 2019 Rivals150.

Recruitment: Minnesota, Northern Iowa, Iowa, Iowa State.

His day: You can tell quickly that Green is the son of a basketball coach. He never gets rattled as a point guard and always makes the right decision. Perhaps his best trait is his ability to hit contested shots.

Prediction: If he plays the way he did on Saturday, Green should have a handful of offers from Big Ten and Big 12 schools by the end of the summer.

Recruitment: Committed to Iowa

His day: Wieskamp struggled with his jump shot, but he quickly adjusted and started attacking the basket. At 6-foot-6, he’s a good athlete and plays a very tough game. He’s a very good finisher in the paint.

Prediction: He’s not a flashy player by any means, but he’s a very productive player. He’ll give Hawkeyes fans four years of quality basketball.

Recruitment: Offers from North Florida and Youngstown State; interest from several Ivy League schools

His day: Catto’s shot is a thing of beauty and that’s the first aspect of his game that jumps out, but he’s also a very good ball handler. At 6-foot-5, he’ll be a guy that can play both backcourt spots at the next level.

Prediction: High-majors in the southeast should start tracking him for the rest of the travel season. With his height, athleticism and shot making ability, he has the goods high-major programs look for.
