Five-star 2010 prospect Roscoe Smith has kept a low profile this spring and summer, but his emergence at the Lebron James Skills Academy has produced three more offers.
California, Florida and UCLA are the latest schools to offer the 6-foot-7, 180-pound forward from Baltimore (Md.) Walbrook High School.
Smith already had offers from Connecticut, Florida State, Georgetown, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Texas, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech. Duke, Memphis and North Carolina are also showing strong interest.
Smith, who is the No. 16 ranked prospect in the class of 2010, has yet to formulate an official school list.
Roscoe Smith scouting report:
An electric athlete with length, Smith is a slasher and active rebounder. He finishes well around the basket and has a broad skill base which is in the process of developing. Comfortable with the ball both on the perimeter and the interior, Smith is also a versatile defender.
