Adams Has Top Seven List

Blake Adams, an explosive 6-4 shooting guard from Aldine Nimitz H.S. in Houston, Tex., plays on the very talented Houston Select team. He can be a great scorer at times and several colleges are recruiting him hard. After a game this week at the National AAU tournament in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, Adams told us: "My top schools are Virginia, TCU, Marquette, Oklahoma State, Iowa, Texas, and Arkansas," Adams said. "But I am open."
An athletic sniper with a knack for scoring, Adams told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that Iowa, Texas and Arkansas are now on his list. His top three list of Virginia, Texas Christian and Oklahoma State remains unchanged.

Adams took his first official visit in May to Oklahoma State. He then took an unofficial visit to TCU, and plans to visit UVa in the fall on an official basis. "I want to take some more visits before I choose a school," Adams said. "Virginia is a school I want to visit."
Prior to the Great American Shootout, he attended the Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis (July 5-10).
