Acy has a leader

It has been a productive spring for four-star prospect Quincy Acy, and the 6-foot-7, 205-pound power forward from Mesquite, Texas, has one Texas school at the top of his list.
" Baylor is leading," said Acy's travel team coach Mitch Malone of Texas Blue Chips. "Florida is second. And he is also considering Arizona, Georgetown and Nebraska."

According to Malone, all five schools have offered and there is also a strong push to move Acy back into the 2008 class, so he can play this season.
"I'd like for him to stay 2009," said Malone. "I think he needs one more year to mature some and develop. Then he can come in and be a feature player as a freshman instead of just playing a role his first year."
A high energy player who runs well and controls the paint, Acy was the leading force in Texas Blue Chips' championship run through the Pearland Classic last weekend.
Acy is the No. 91 ranked prospect in the class of 2009.
