ACC school lands Hill

Life around Donte Hill's house is good this weekend. The 6-foot-3 guard from Virginia is off the board and he's headed to the ACC.
After considering options from a local program and a rising ACC school, Hill knew the time was now to commit to the Clemson Tigers. His father, Troy Hill, confirmed the news with Rivals.com on Saturday evening.

"It's a great day for us. We feel real good around here," Mr. Hill said. "We narrowed it down to Clemson, Marquette and Old Dominion. We had a great relationship with [former MU coach Tom] Crean and didn't have much relationship with the new guys. So we decided to go to ODU and Clemson, to both of their elite camps. He liked both schools and so it was a tough decision to make and but he chose the ACC."
Hill is the third member of Clemson's 2009 recruiting class, joining Rivals150 forwards Milton Jennings and Devin Booker. The Norfolk Collegiate product likes the opportunity with the Tigers, his father says.
"He's been following Clemson for a while now and like what they have to offer," Mr. Hill said. "He's on cloud nine right now. He had a rough summer…so this is a perfect way to end it."
