ACC Big East interest in 2007 Bowie

Three-star 2007 prospect Adrian Bowie has transferred to Montrose Christian and is already seeing results in his improved jump shot. At 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, the physical and athletic shooting guard from Greenbelt, Md., is already being tracked by ACC and Big East schools.
"Adrian is receiving interest from North Carolina State, Duke, Georgetown, Clemson, Notre Dame and South Florida,” said Bowie’s, father John Bowie. “He likes North Carolina State and Wake Forest a lot, even though Wake Forest has not shown interest yet."

Bowie is hoping to continue to build on this summer’s momentum at Montrose Christian. Bowie played a significant role, especially on the defensive end, for the DC Assault 16-under team, which went 69-4 over the summer and won the 16-under AAU National Championship.
"I think transferring to Montrose Christian and playing for Stu Vetter will help Adrian's game a lot,” said John Bowie. “Since he's been there his jump shot has gotten a lot better. It's more fluid and he's shooting from up in front instead from the side. Defensively, Adrian is doing a great job. He is a good athlete and puts a lot of effort into his defense."
With three years of high school basketball still ahead of him, the future looks very bright Bowie.
"Adrian is only 15 years old and wears a size 16 shoe,” said his father. “He is still growing, and his best basketball is in front of him.”
