Abukar Visiting UK, Will Visit Florida Too
Mohamed Abukar, a 6-foot-9, 195-pound combination forward from Rancho Bernardo (CA) High School, is currently on the campus of Kentucky. Abukar left this morning from his California home to take the long trip, according to a source close to Abukar.
Previously, Abukar told us he was planning on visiting Florida too. This trip will take place after his visit to Kentucky.

Abukar is also considering another trip. If he were to take a third trip, Abukar would decide between Missouri, Oregon, Georgia Tech, and Connecticut. Louisville was previously mentioned also as being of serious interest. Abukar did take an unofficial visit to Louisville last week.
Abukar, a four-star player for RivalsHoops.com, chose the Georgia Bulldogs over the Kansas Jayhawks last summer. But the coaching change at Georgia prompted Abukar to demand his release so he could seek another school. Abukar averaged 29 points and 13 rebounds this past season.
