Abrams looking forward to AAU Circuit

After a successful and productive junior campaign, Jamar Abrams is already looking forward to the spring and summer AAU Circuit. The 6-foot-6, 180-pound small forward from Highland Springs (VA) High School is already being recruited by quite a few high-major programs, but Abrams hopes to see his list expand throughout the AAU Circuit.
"We had a great year," said Abrams. "We didn't end the season the way we wanted to because we lost in the quarterfinals of the state tournament. I had 22-points and 10 rebounds in the quarterfinal game, so I was pleased with that. We were 24-5 on the year and I averaged 15.1-points per game.

"I would say that I did okay this year," he added. "I didn't do everything that I wanted to do, but I still had a good year. I really wanted to be more of a scorer and rebounder for my team."
With his junior season of basketball complete, Abrams is looking forward to the spring and summer AAU Circuit. Quite a few schools have already expressed an interest in the 6-foot-6, 180-pound small forward, but Abrams is wide-open at this time.
"I am pretty much wide-open right now," said Abrams. "Virginia, William & Mary, Virginia Tech, American and Virginia Commonwealth are some of the schools that came to watch me play this year. I am also hearing from Syracuse, Georgetown, Connecticut, Arkansas, Clemson and South Carolina.
"I will be playing with the Richmond Metro Gold this spring and summer," he added. "I believe that we start playing at the end of March or beginning of April. I know that we are going to all of the big events. We will be at the Boo Williams, the Bob Gibbons TOC; we are going to Las Vegas and some other big events."
