Aaron Cook Opens Some Recruiting Eyes

Aaron Cook, a 6-2, 180-pound combo guard from Celestial Prep in Philadelphia, PA, opened some eyes last week at the Rim Rocker tournament. Cook, who led Celestial to the tournament victory, was named the event's most valuable player.
The reasons were that Cook shot the ball well and directed the offense when called upon with great efficiency. Cook averaged around 17 points a game for the three matchups.

Some of the schools that took a look at Cook were Massachusetts, Stony Brook, Hartford, East Carolina, and Providence. Cook is for sure a mid division one player. Hartford head coach Larry Harrison was on hand for the Final against Mount Zion.
Harrison could be seen talking to the Celestial Prep staff after the game. Our sources tell us that Hartford has offered him a scholarship. Whether a school like Providence gets more seriously involved remains to be seen.
