A10 School Schedules Visit With Abraham

Dennard Abraham, a 6-8, 250 pound power forward/center from Notre Dame Academy in Middleburg, VA, will visit Rhode Island on the weekend of October 12th, the opening of practice for Division I schools.
His AAU coach, Jeff Bowden of Baltimore Select, also said that Abraham has rescheduled his trip to Youngstown State to October 18 and 19. He was originally scheduled to trek to the Ohio school on Monday, October 7th. He'll be competing with Baltimore Select at the Charlie Weber Invitational which this year is being played during the first weekend in October (4-6 at Maryland-College Park). The native Baltimorean's first official visit will be to DePaul the weekend of September 27, 2002.

The other programs on Abraham's list are Loyola-Chicago, La Salle, George Mason and Virginia Commonwealth. All seven schools have offered scholarships.
Abraham averaged 15 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks per game last season with Larry Cullinane's NDA program.
RivalsHoops.com's number 23 center in the class of 2003 is a very powerful inside player who can handle either post position. At Notre Dame, he's in a good setting for academics and plays with one of the better prep programs in the DC-area.
