A Pure Athlete

FT. WAYNE, Ind. -- One of the better pure athletes we've encountered here at the 9th Annual Spiece Run N Slam Tournament is 6-6, 185 pound small forward Brandon Foust of Brookhaven H.S. in Columbus, Ohio.
A terrific leaper who is a consistent threat on the offensive glass, Foust helped All-Ohio to a pool play victory over the Portland Inner City Players on Saturday afternoon at the Run N Slam.

Foust said he has been offered scholarships thus far by Xavier, Oklahoma and Mississippi, and also listed Dayton, Seton Hall, Arizona and Kent State as potential college destinations.
Foust has unofficially visited Mississippi and plans to make a trip over to check out Seton Hall sometime within the next month or so.
As a junior at Brookhaven, Foust averaged 12 points, eight rebounds and three blocks per game. He said he has a 3.0 GPA and will take the ACT for the first time in June.
Foust will kick off a very busy July at the Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis this July. He will then tour the Nike/AAU circuit with Jerry Watson's All-Ohio Red program, and their expected pit stops include the Nike Peach Jam (assuming invite), the AAU Super Showcase and the AAU Nationals.
