A Matter Of Time For Alabama

It has been very clear that Alabama is the school to beat for the inside power skills of 6-10, 305-pound center James Lang. After all, Lang told us this at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions on Memorial Day weekend and he stated the same tonight.
"Alabama has offered me and has recruited me the longest," Lang said. "They are the team that sticks out the most to me right now."

Lang will be a tremendous boost to any program that lands him. He has the ability to post up opponents and manhandle them in the paint. Lang delivers pain to those who try to push him off the low blocks. He will likely land in the NBA if he continues to improve his offensive moves in the low post. Lang doesn't mind making his living in the paint, a rarity in high school and college basketball.
Lang, who played for the Alabama Ice at the Tournament of Champions event, told us he still has interest in Duke, Kentucky, Wake Forest, North Carolina, South Carolina, and North Carolina State."
But Alabama is the school to beat. "Yes, they have shown the most interest," Lang said. "I am not sure when I will make a decision. It could be in the summer or might be in the Fall."
Lang told us he has already taken unofficial visits to Alabama, Duke, and South Carolina. Lang said he has not set up any visits but would think about it if he has the time.
