A Look At Tim Morris

Tim Morris, a 6-4, 190-pound swingman from Whitefield Academy in Georgia, is attracting major division one attention.
According to his coach, Tyrone Johnson, Morris is currently interested in Notre Dame, Stanford, Georgia Tech, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt. Each of these schools have all come to Morris either play a game or practice/workout.

Whitefield suffered a tough lost -- by four points -- thus ending its season in a playoff battle to Taylor County this past Monday.
Morris concluded his junior year by averaging 21.6 points a game, 11.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists.
As indicated by some of the schools on his list, Tim is also an outstanding student.
On the court, Coach Johnson says the key to Tim's game is his strength. He can bench press 270 pounds. This means he can
punish other two guards guards with his ability to get to the rim. Tim will compete this summer in AAU events with the Georgia Stars AAU program.
Sirgant on Tim Morris: Tim's perimeter game is improving at a nice clip. He hit several mid-range jumpers and a three in the game I saw Monday.
Morris is strong defensively and does a good job of keeping his man in front of him and using his body and strength effectively.
