Rinkevicius, who hails from Kaunas, Lithuania, went up against some very good frontline talent of Worcester Academy this past weekend. He showed a nice baby hook and appeared to at least have confidence in his shot when he got the ball in the low post.
Make no mistake about it, Rinkevicius has many things to learn. He needs to add some pounds to his frame too. But it appears the has some decent upside to his game and has a chance to be a good college basketball player. Giedrius was active enough where you at least came away with the impression that he will make some strides when he plays for the Missouri basketball program.
Rinkevicius only scored six points but it was in limited action. And again, the competition was a very good level. The Worcester frontline featured players who will attend such schools as Indiana and Boston College.
