A Look at Davidson Recruiting
Davidson signed a third player this past December in addition to swingman Brandon Winters and power forward/center Ian Johnson. He is 6-6, 225 pound forward Jeff Severinghaus from First Colonial High School in Virginia Beach, VA. Severinghaus averaged 15 points and seven rebounds as a junior.
Last fall, we reported that 6-4, 205-pound shooting guard Moustafa El-Zanaty from the MacDuffie School in Springfield, Massachusetts, also committed to the Southern Conference school. But, as Brian Towey reported, it was contingent on El-Zanaty gaining admittance. He didn't sign during the NLI early period.

Davidson, 18-8, 11-4 this season in Southern's North Division, still has two scholarships left for the 2002 season.
