A couple Big 12 offers for Scott

Now that 2010 prospect Ricky Scott has given up football to focus on basketball, his recruitment has begun to take off. Presently the 6-foot-2, 195-pound combo guard from Irving (Texas) Irving Macarthur School has two Big 12 offers.
Baylor and Texas Tech have offered the athletic guard. Western Kentucky, TCU, SMU and Texas-Arlington have also offered and Oklahoma is recruiting Scott as well.

Both Baylor and Texas Tech are establishing themselves at the top of Scott's school list. He has already unofficially visited Texas Tech, and a trip to Baylor is scheduled for November 15.
Scott's travel team coach Jason Ross of Full Court Athletes raves about Scott's athleticism.
"Ricky is the best athlete in the state of Texas hands down," said Ross. "Miami was recruiting Ricky hard in football before he quit. That's the type of athlete he is. I think he has a chance to play the point in college, but he is the type of player who can play the one, two and three."
