7-footer Jarrod Boswell Making an Impression
Jarrod Boswell, a 7-0, 240 pound center, has been making his presence felt for El Capitan High School in Lakeside, California.
Boswell has averaged 28.8 points, 15.8 rebounds, and 5.3 blocked shots over his last four games.

His coach, Ross Furrow, told EastCountySports.com, "He's getting incredible shots. Part of that is because our players are looking for him a lot more now. He's getting stronger and his
confidence is growing."
"Jarrod is legit, measured at 7-feet," Furrow added. "He really bothers
people inside. If he gets the ball down low, he's hard to stop. He's athletic
and very agile, just not quick. He needs to get into a weight program so he
can get stronger and overpower people."
Boswell scored 32 points (including nine in the fourth quarter), grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked 4 shots
in the his teams's 71-59 victory over visiting Valhalla of El Cajon, CA.
The win improved El Capitan's record to 6-11 as the Vaqueros (8-10) gave the Norseman just their second loss in the last 10 games.
