4 Schools Call On Freeman

Ricardo Freeman, a 6-3, 198 pound point guard from Seward County C.C. in Liberal, Kan., has early interest from many high major Division I programs.

Freeman averaged 11.8 points and 7.6 assists per game this past season for the Saints, who were knocked out in the Region VI title game by eventual NJCAA runner-up Coffeyville.
A native of Hartford, Conn., Freeman is an excellent penetrator with good court awareness. Although he can be a bit turnover prone at times, Freeman is good a finding seams in the defense and taking advantage.
Freeman does not have any official visits set up for the fall, but South Florida is working both him and Seward teammate DeVonne Giles very hard this summer, according to Trenkle.
We will keep you posted on Freeman and his recruitment in the weeks to come, so stay tuned.
