4 At Top For Talented Guard

CHAPEL HILL, NORTH CAROLINA -- Vincent Camper, a 6-3, 180-pound guard from Oxford High School in Oxford, Mississippi, told us this past weekend that he has a list of four schools -- Oklahoma, UCLA, Cincinnati, and Connecticut.
"I like each of these the same way," Camper told us. "I like the style of play and the coaches. Right now those are the schools that I am serious about."

Camper, who averaged 18 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds last season, told us he is trying to improve two areas this summer. "I want to improve my shooting," Camper said. "And my leadership on the floor."
Camper has the ability to battle big bodies inside with his frame. He showed a knack for moving past defenders and getting to the basket. He picked up several fouls on defenders in a game RivalsHoops.com watched this past weekend at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions.
"I think once I improve my shooting this will help me more offensively," Camper said. "I can set up players and I can take it to the basket. I just want to be more consistent with my jumper."
Camper told us he is open still in his process and has no problem going away from home to play college basketball. "I just have to do what is best for me," Camper said. "My focus now is to improve my game."
