3 Majors Offer Parmer

Jeff Parmer, a bulky southpaw from Niagara Falls High School, is a crafty 6-7, 226-pound combo forward with a lot of promise.
Parmer, who possesses good bulk and strength, is a lefty who is crafty around the hoop, capable of twisting and contorting to elude defenders to drop in interior buckets. He is not the fleetest guy a foot in terms of foot speed, but is mobile in the post. Parmer was active on the glass throughout the camp, his long reach enabling Jeff to corral caroms.

Parmer has fielded interest from UConn, West Virginia, Marquette, Providence, Cincinnati and "many more schools". West Virginia, Marquette, and Providence have offered.
"Eventually I'm going to take some trips, maybe in the fall," said Parmer. "I've already visited Providence unofficially, and I might visit Cincinnati and West Virginia."
Parmer, who averaged 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists at Niagara Falls High, will travel to the Vegas Big Time Tournament with Mickey Walker's Donyell Marshall Foundation, as well as the 17 and under Nationals with an AAU team based in Rochester.
Parmer carries an 86 scholastic average. He did not attain a qualifying SAT score in one try, but told Rivals Hoops that he recently scored 880 on a practice test after taking an SAT course, and is confident that he will reach the qualifying standard.
