3 Major Offers For Big Man

Xaverian High School's Chris Taft, a 6-9, 220-pound rising senior center/power forward out of Brooklyn, has seen scores of high major college coaches come in to evaluate him this spring.
Among those who have made the trek to Bay Ridge to eye Taft include North Carolina, Villanova, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Duke, and Maryland.

Villanova, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse have offered. The rest of the schools are waiting to see his academic transcript after this marking period is over.
The big-bodied Taft will suit up for the Brooklyn Bridge aka Juice Crew this summer. The wealth of interest Taft has generated among the major conferences could be attributed, at least in part, to a bang-up showing in Texas during the recent open period.
Taft has received invitations to both the NBA camp and ABCD camp. He also plans on participating in the Las Vegas Big Time Tournament.
Taft plans on taking some unofficial trips this summer, but is unsure of where he will go at this point. Taft said he doesn't have a leader and is open to the schools on his list.
