3 High Majors Land Visits For Transfer

Shane Power, a 6-5, 210-pound forward who is transferring from Iowa State, told us he will visit Mississippi State this Friday. "I am also going to visit Pittsburgh on Monday and Virginia on Thursday," Power told us. "I have already visited New Mexico."
Power, a native of Crown Point, Ind., announced the was transferring two to three weeks ago. "I am also considering Wisconsin and Notre Dame," Power said. "I might take a fifth visit before I decide."

Power started all 31 games last season, averaging 13.6 ppg and 4.5 rpg. Power was a honorable mention all-Big 12 pick. Power previously mentioned South Carolina but they appear to be off the radar screen right now.
Power, who led Iowa State in steals with 37, told us: "It's been a couple of weeks now since schools knew I am transferring," Power said. "So I am probably just going to look at the schools I have on my list now."
Power was also second on the team in assists with 73. "I got along great with the coaches at New Mexico," Power said. "I had a very good time. I enjoyed meeting the players too. I related well to both the coaches and players."
