2013 four-star will stay in-state
Notre Dame and Mike Brey already have a couple of four-star prospects committed from the class of 2012. Now, the Irish have a four-star to start off their class of 2013 recruiting.
Sunday afternoon, junior V.J. Beachem announced that he's going to play his college ball in South Bend.

A 6-foot-6 small forward from New Haven (Ind.) High, Beachem is a lengthy wing with plenty of athleticism and a body to grow into.
While he can certainly get out on the break and use his length and athleticism to finish, his biggest strength is elsewhere. Beachem is a high level jump shooter with deep range and the ability to raise up over just about any defender.
A standout for the Eric Gordon All-Stars 16 and under team over the summer, Beachem is Notre Dame's first commitment from the class of 2012.
