2009 duo leading Birmingham Hayes H.S.

Birmingham (Ala.) Hayes High School is off to a 10-1 start largely because of the play of the dynamic inside/outside tandem of Edward Daniel, 6-foot-7, 210-pound power forward, and Eric Bledsoe, 6-foot, 170-pound point guard.
Bledsoe, who is averaging 11 points and ten assists per game, sports offers from Ole Miss, Bradley, South Alabama and UAB while Marquette is also watching him closely.

Averaging 16 points and eight rebounds, Daniel's stock is rapidly rising. The athletic and long forward has offers from UAB, Marquette, South Alabama and Southern University.
Add Alabama and Missouri to the list of schools that have watched both Daniel and Bledsoe this fall, but have not yet offered either prospect.
Having impressive upside, Daniel is focused on increasing his perimeter skill level.
"I'm working hard on my ball handling and catching and shooting off of screens," said Daniel. "I plan on being a three in college, so I'm working on my perimeter game in general.
"When I do get serious about my recruiting after the season, I'll first look at what type of mechanical engineering program the schools have. After that I'll look at the caliber of recruits that would be coming in with me."
Both Bledsoe and Daniel will run with the Birmingham Ice during the travel season.
