2007 Taylor has plenty of options

There is no doubt that Chris Taylor is going to have plenty of options when the time comes for him to make a decision about his future. The 6-foot-7, 205-pound small forward from Wayzata (MN) High School is receiving interest from quite a few high major programs at this time.
"Well, a bunch of schools are involved in his recruitment," said Wayzata head coach Phil Ward. "Michigan, Wisconsin, Arkansas-Little Rock, South Dakota State, San Diego and Iowa State are the schools that have been by to watch Chris practice. There are actually too many schools to name and I don't have all of them in front of me.

"I do believe that Chris is considering taking some unofficial visits, but I don't know what schools he is going to visit," he added. "He is planning to take some official visits, but I don't know what schools he is planning to see. Chris is just trying to get his game completely together right now."
Despite the fact that a number of high major programs are involved in Taylor's recruitment, he isn't looking to make a decision about his future anytime soon.
In fact, the 6-foot-7, 205-pound small forward is completely focused on making the most of his junior season at Wayzata High School.
"We are a very young team," said Ward. "We are 11-6 right now, but we have everybody coming back next year, so we should have a good team. Chris is playing well for us and is having a good year. He is averaging 16.5-points, nine rebounds, three or four assists and four or five blocks per game.
"Chris is not the type of players that is going to blow you away statistically, but he does a lot of things well," he added. "He is really having a fine season for us so far this year."
