2007 Kee names leader

A leader has emerged in the recruitment for Martavis Kee, the 6-foot-2, 180-pound combo guard from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The three-star prospect is being recruited by a dozen or more high-major institutions, but Kee has his eye on one school in particular.
"Illinois, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Miami-FL, Temple, South Carolina, South Florida and Clemson are some of the schools recruiting me," said Kee. "I have scholarship offers from Virginia Tech, Clemson, South Florida and South Carolina.

"Clemson came to the gym to watch me practice and Miami-FL is another school that is showing a lot of interest in me," he added. "Those are pretty much the schools that I am interested in right now."
Of all the schools recruiting Kee, he is extremely interested in one program in particular. He is going to keep all of his options open, but should something happen with one Big Ten program; Kee would likely put an end to his recruitment.
"Coach Tommy Amaker from Michigan and I have been talking," said Kee. "I am just waiting to see what happens with a couple of players from the class of 2006. I am very high on Michigan and that is where I would like to go to school.
"I believe that Coach Amaker could really help me develop my point guard skills," he added. "I just need to wait and see what happens with some other players they are recruiting. Michigan is at the top of my list."
