2006 Wallace in no hurry to decide

Blake Wallace, the 6-foot-7, 190-pound small forward from Servite High School in Yorba Linda, Calif., has the ability to be one of the top players, if not the top player, at his position out West. After taking unofficial visits to UCLA, Hawaii and California, Wallace indicated that he plans to take all five official visits next fall before making a decision about his future.
“Oregon, UCLA, Oregon State and California are the schools that have come by the gym to watch me practice so far,” Wallace said. “Stanford, Connecticut, Syracuse, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Kansas, Oklahoma State and NC State are just a few of the schools that have started to become really involved in my recruitment."

Wallace, the no. 142 ranked player in the class of 2006, plans to take all five official visits next fall before making a decision about his future. With so many new schools showing an increased interest on a daily basis, Wallace stated that he is not in any hurry to make a decision about his future.
“I have already taken unofficial visits to UCLA, Hawaii and California,” he added. “I am originally from Hawaii, and I have a sister that attends the school, so it’s a school that I am definitely interested in. The fact that my sister attends Hawaii will not influence my decision, but it is a school that I do like.”
Hawaii and California are the two schools have have offered Wallace a scholarship so far.
