2006 Udoh has Favorite in Pac-10

The No. 80 ranked player in the class of 2006 Ekpe Udoh is athletic, long, and has a very big upside. The 6-foot-8, 200-pound combo forward from Santa Fe High School in Edmond, Okla., is still growing and already has a base skill package in place. At the moment he is listing five schools with a favorite in the Pac-10.
“I like Arizona, Cincinnati, Illinois, Oklahoma, and UNC-Wilmington,” said Udoh, who plays with Athletes First in the summer. “Arizona is my favorite because they have skinny post players like me. They always seem to be successful at Arizona, and I’d like to go there and see if I can do the same.”

Although he needs to improve his quickness and skills with the ball, Udoh has the makings of a small forward and might still grow a few inches more.
“I am definitely still growing,” he said. “The doctor just said that I have three more inches.”
Udoh averaged 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks per game as a sophomore for Santa Fe High School, which made it to the first round of the state tournament.
