2006 Prospect Spotlight: James Inge

James Inge, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound guard from Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden, N.J., is one of the better undiscovered national recruits in the class of 2006. A number of programs have taken note though.
Inge is an active guard that rebounds like a forward. He has athleticism to match, too. Playing on both the 16 and 17 Dajuan Wagner Shooting Stars, Inge shined on the AAU circuit.

“I feel like I did real good with AAU. I was the MVP at the Charlie Weber 16 and under tournament in Delaware,” Inge said. “I just tried to go out there and just dominate. I told myself that if I dominated then I would get the MVP. So I tried to play hard.”
High-majors saw enough of him during the summer to put him on their mailing lists.
“Ohio State and Kentucky have been sending me letters to the house,” Inge said. “Hopefully more letters will be coming and coaches will come out to see me play this year.”
Inge traveled to Georgetown last week with his fraternal twin Semaj (which is James backwards). “It was nice down there,” James said. Villanova, Virginia and Virginia Tech have also inquired.
The twins don’t plan on playing together at the college level.
“It’s not too important to us,” Inge said. “Semaj and I want to go our own separate ways.”
