2006 Nebraska forward playing well

Three-star 2006 prospect Matt Hill is playing exceptionally well for Lincoln Southeast (Neb.) High School, who is off to a 7-1 start. Hill, an athletic 6-foot-10, 225-pound power forward is averaging double-double and has a couple high majors watching him closely.
"Matt is playing very well for us," said Lincoln Southeast head coach Jeff Smith. "He's always a presence defensively, is running the floor well and is shooting a high percentage."

On the year, Hill is averaging 20 points, 12 rebounds and 6 blocks per game. As a sophomore, he averaged 12 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks per game as Lincoln Southeast advanced to the state semifinals.
Nebraska has already offered Hill, who runs with the Nebraska Bison during the summer. Colorado State has been to a practice, and Purdue has watched both a practice and a game. A number of other schools, including Kansas, have also been in contact with Hill.
A hard worker on the court and a good student in the classroom, Hill carries a 3.4 GPA.
