2006 Jackson thinking about visits

Ricky Jackson, the three-star prospect from McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio, is looking forward to taking some official visits in the very near future. The 6-foot-6, 200-pound small forward has taken two official visits and one unofficial visit. Jackson hopes to use the remaining three official visits before selecting a school.
"Ricky is attracting some interest from several Division 1 schools," said McKinley head coach David Hoover. "I don't really give out too much information about the schools recruiting Ricky, but I will tell you that several schools are recruiting him right now.

"Ricky recently took an unofficial visit to Akron," he added. "He has also officially visited Liberty and St. Francis. I would imagine that he would take three more official visits before he picks a school. Ricky might actually take some of those visits during spring break."
With his senior year of basketball now behind him, Jackson will have more time to focus in on his recruitment. However, don't expect the three-star prospect to forget how sweet this past season really was.
"Ricky had an excellent year for us," said Hoover. "He was excellent from start to finish, but really came on towards the end of the year. If we needed a rebound or needed points to be scored, Ricky did that for us.
"We were 25-2 this year," he added. "We ended the year by winning the State Championship. Ricky was certainly a big time player for us."
Aside from the aforementioned programs, there was a time when Jackson was receiving a great deal of interest from the likes of Cincinnati, Michigan State, NC State, Ohio State, Stanford and Syracuse.
