2006 Dahlman: Big Time Prospect

The Howard Pulley Panthers have at least three 2006 high major prospects, the best being 6-foot-6, 175-pound shooting guard Isaiah Dahlman. Dahlman is quite thin, but he is also still growing. He listed eight schools that he likes at this point, and two of those schools have already offered a scholarship.
“Michigan, Florida, Stanford, Iowa State, Boston College, Florida State, Wisconsin, and Minnesota,” said Dahlman, who attends Braham (Minn.) High School. “Iowa State and Boston College have offered scholarships, but I like all of these schools right now.”

Dahlman projects to have the size and skill of a big time high major talent. The lefty can stroke the long range and mid-range jumper and is good with the ball in his hands. He sees the floor well and has a good general feel for the game.
An increase in strength is primarily what Dahlman needs to improve his weaker areas which are defending and rebounding.
“I am working hard on my defense because my offense is already there,” he said. “I need to get stronger and become a better rebounder.”
Look for Dahlman to be ranked in the updated rankings for the class of 2006.
