2006 Bouldin Listing Seven with Three Leaders

The No. 53 ranked player in the class of 2006 Matt Bouldin was impressive this summer at both the Nike Hoop Jamboree and the adidas Super 64. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound combo guard from Thunder Ridge High School in Denver, Colo., spent some time this summer on the Stanford campus at their basketball camp and is listing a total of seven schools with three favorites.
“I met a lot of great people,” said Bouldin of his visit to Palo Alto, Calif. “It was really sweet. I liked it a lot. It is amazing out there, the campus and the people.”

Stanford is not only on Bouldin’s list of seven but is also one of his three leaders.
“I like Stanford, Kansas, Oregon, Notre Dame, Texas, Colorado, and Colorado State,” he said. “Stanford, Kansas, and Oregon are my favorites right now.”
The versatile combo guard, who is very adept at working his way to the basket while always searching for the open man and can also keep the defense honest by knocking down the three, noted the strength of all three schools’ programs and style of play.
“They are all great programs,” said Bouldin. “I like the way Oregon stresses their guards. Kansas runs with the ball a lot, which is nice.”
Bouldin has one of the best hesitation moves on the circuit which is a result of his tremendous feel for the game. He can play either guard spot and enhances the effectiveness of his teammates.
Although a two position player on offense, he is more of an off guard on defense in that a quick point guard who can also shoot from outside will be a difficult match up for him on the high major level.
