2005 Prospect Lands 5 High Major Offers

Josh McRoberts, a developing 6-foot-9, 215-pound sophomore center/power forward from Carmel H.S. in Carmel, Ind., has displayed nice potential so far this spring at several high profile AAU events.
McRoberts, who played with Indiana Red at the Memorial Day Classic, moves reasonably well, plays hard and can use both hands around the basket. Like a lot of young big men, a lot will be dependent on how his frame continues to fill out over the next two years.

McRoberts told RivalsHoops.com that he's been offered scholarships by Michigan, Notre Dame, Purdue, Iowa and Xavier. Indiana is also looking at McRoberts.
Being an Indiana native, McRoberts has already had the opportunity to take unofficial visits to all five of the colleges listed above.
McRoberts averaged 17 points and 10 rebounds per game as a sophomore at Carmel. He'll be a player to keep an eye on this summer.
McRoberts has been playing with the 16 and 17 and under Indiana Red squads this spring. The 17 and under teams will attend the Hoosier Shootout, the Heartland Classic, the AAU Super Showcase and the AAU Nationals during the July evaluation period.
