2004 Sleeper Alert: Manny Quezada

Emmanuel "Manny" Quezada, is a New York native in the class of 2004 who could emerge as one of the real sleepers in his class.
Quezada, a 6'1'' 175 pound combo guard who attends The St. Albans School in Washington, D.C., surfaced this summer as a smooth and wily scorer. Quezada is a crafty guard who can stroke it from mid and long range. He is adept at getting defenders off of their feet with up-fakes before canning the jumper.

At this point, physical strength is probably Quezada's biggest consideration. He'll need to hit the weights for the next level.
Manny has fielded interest from Providence, Stanford, and Delaware at this early juncture. Providence has come in to see him work out, and Stanford has expressed some legitimate interest.
Quezada competes with The CAS Warriors, based in New York City, coached by Fred Benjamin and Nick Blatchford. Some of his summer stops included trips to The Las Vegas Big Time Tournament and The Best of Summer Tourney.
Quezada is a solid "B" student at academically competitive St. Albans. He will likely take the PSAT this fall.
