2003 Target: Tim Morris

Tim Morris, a 6-4, 190-pound combo guard from Whitefield Academy in Mableton, Georgia, told us last night that he will only take one visit right now in the next month. "I plan on visiting Notre Dame," Morris said. "I have not set up any more visits. I am not sure if I will take any more visits before the summer."
Morris, who will attend the NIKE camp in July, also said many other programs have come by his school for visits. "Maryland, North Carolina State, Clemson, Tennessee, Vanderbilt," Morris said. "Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Stanford too."

Morris is an excellent student too. He has achieved an 1190 on the SAT. "I am going to take it again," Morris said. "I can do better." Morris said he is also interested in Connecticut, Florida, Syracuse, and St. Louis. "I don't have a leader or any school that stands out," Morris said. "I am open."
Morris also indicated he might take a look at schools like Penn, Princeton, and Harvard. "Academics are very important to me," Morris said. "I want to not only succeed athletically but academically."
Morris averaged averaged 21.6 ppg., 11.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists this past year. "I played a lot of power forward and center for my team this year," Morris said. "That's because I was the biggest guy on my team. But I am being recruited at the guard position by all the schools involved."
